Dear Ones,

Here is a poem about love. I like this poem, except for one thing: Its creation had to do with a black magic spell of astral rape, and not with ‘the real McCoy’. It was the result of a daydream, and not to do with a real-life experience. I feel it is important, in life, to find romance on the physical plane, and not just dream about it; don’t you? For more on astral rape, please see my blog category:  Psychic rape – astral rape

There is a Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Some years ago I wrote a rollicking love song. I thought I would read that for you today. The subtitle is “Why Bother to Say ‘I Love You’?”

Love’s a Wet Ride: Why Bother to Say ‘I Love You’?
A Poem by Alice B. Clagett
Soundtrack and Words
October 2001

Love’s a wet ride on a stormy day
And no matter what, it will have its way,
And it’s “Whoa, that chick is outta sight,”
And it’s “Rock me, momma, on your lap tonight.”

Love’s a rock in this world of woe,
And it’s “Kiss me under the mistletoe!”
Love’s the one, and love’s the many,
Love’s “Don’t knock here — I ain’t got any!”

You might get lucky, but you might lose,
So why risk a run-in with Old Man Blues?
It’s not really such a riddle —
If love’s the tune, then we’re the fiddle.

Love’s the ocean and we’re the sand,
When the tide rolls in, this sand feels grand.
Love’s a wet ride on a stormy day,
And no matter what, it will have its way.
