Dear Ones,

Here is a set of early poemlets …

. . . . .

LIFE BY THE SLICE
Tiny Poems by Alice B. Clagett
amongst her early works

I drank the rain from stone bowls
in the mountains.

Silent alpine meadow leaps
deer fled hushed sandal taps.

.

The pale orb beckons
Twin moons descend the hill.

.

Chill dank air crouches
at the mountain’s northern base.
Dark flowrs bloom there

and on her southern slope
I eat the sun.

.

The angel’s hair flamed through the westward sky.

. . . . .
