Catching Crabs on the Chesapeake Bay
A Story by Alice B. Clagett

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice.

I’m still here at Malibu Lagoon right now, sitting in the shade. It’s a beautiful, re-landscaped area here. Very popular … A lot of people on the trail here. You can walk in for free, too.

I got to thinking about my childhood, because the lagoon reminds me of a place where my Dad used to take us when we were little, called Fairhaven. It was on the Chesapeake, and gave directly on the Chesapeake Bay, without much beach. And there was a little inlet there, that went to a saltwater lagoon.

And there were crabs there, that would go from the ocean, and on the high tide they would go scurrying into the lagoon; probably looking for something to eat. So this particular day I’m thinking about, we got to Fairhaven, and my father handed me a crab net. And he said: Here! Go catch us some dinner!

So I went down to the inlet. And it was my first attempt; it was the first time I had ever tried to catch anything for dinner. [laughs] And so, I was very intent, and very serious about learning how to catch crabs. And I was hungry, so that helped a lot. The first thing I noticed was, that when I tried to catch the crabs, if I weren’t very comfortable … they were very shy, and they would notice me, and they would disappear into the oncoming tide stream, and disappear very quickly, and into the murky water.

So I had to target the crabs that were close to the edge of the channel, and I had to move very, very quietly. And so finally I thought I had lined up my definite dinner, and I swooped down with my net, and I missed the crab by about 6 inches.

I had aimed directly at the crab, and so I couldn’t figure it out. And this same thing happened two more times; I missed the crab. My net landed in front of the crab.

I was desperately hungry. And finally I thought: I will aim 6 inches behind the crab, and see what happens. So I did that. And I caught my first crab!

At the time, I didn’t know about how water refracts light, and changes what appears to be the location of things. But what I did learn is that what we see with our eyes is not always true. It’s really good to go, not with what we see, but with what actually works for us. And that way we can get closer to truth. The eyes can be false sometimes. So truth is in our experience of reality,

Blessings!

In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars

Dear Ones,

Here is a video about the pruning of the jacaranda trees in my front yard, and troubles with tree spirits and battery drain. There is a Summary after the video …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

The Day the Jacaranda Trees Were Pruned

I have a story to tell you all about the pruning of the three jacaranda trees in my front yard. I got to thinking that they were a little too tall and sprawly, especially the one that sprawls next to the roof of my house, for the sake of fire prevention on the street. So I hired someone to prune two of them way down. They are very big trees.

And the littlest one, the one to the righthand side on the street, the man I hired decided not to prune at all, because it needed a head start in relation to the other trees, to grow up a little, compared to them.

Anyway, especially on the jacaranda tree next to the roof of the house there was some radical pruning to do on the limb that stretched over the house, and on other limbs as well; it was quite a huge tree.

After some tense moments, and some expert tree trimming, the job was done. The only thing that remained to be done was to come back with that machine that grinds up stumps and tree limbs, and finish grinding up maybe a third of the severed tree limbs that did not fit into the wagon brought by the man that was hired to do the grinding up on the day of the tree trimming. That contractor was supposed to come back the next day and finish up.

Psychic Pain Likely to Do With the Pain the Pruned Trees Felt

That night the most amazing thing happened: I could not sleep for the first half of the night because of a pain in my head. I had a pain all over my crown chakra; it is the very top of my head up here [points to top of head] … my crown chakra. And it would not go away. It was not a physical pain; it was a psychic pain.

Major Upset of a Tree Spirit

In addition to this pain I heard a tree spirit … a dryad … or maybe, considering how big the tree was, it might have been a deva of the forest. It was so upset with me … very upset.

It kept saying: You don’t love me. You don’t love me at all! You don’t love me more than anything.

And it went and hid in the forest of a few giant Canary Island pine trees in the backyard of the person who lives across the street. It would not come out. It could not be cajoled out.

Examination of Conscience

Well, I had a horrible time of it. I was feeling so guilty. And I could not rest.

It had been a very difficult day, being concerned about the trees, and being concerned about the spirits of the trees and the nature spirits, and about what would happen in my front yard after that. And then what would happen, happened that night!

I really love tree spirits, and I really love trees. I just could not come to terms with it. But finally, around 3 am the following morning, I fell asleep for a few hours. Then I went out and I promised the trees I would bring them extra water so they could grow back strong and fine … the two that had been cut.

I have been doing that ever since; I have been using grey water from the sink. The trees seemed to take heart finally, and they are sprouting new leaves for the second time. I think they are going to be all right.

But I would say there is still a standoff with the tree spirit. It has not been around much, but it is working very hard right now to make the trees come back to full bloom and full leaf for the summer.

It makes me wonder what is the right thing to do. In a fire-prone climate, what is the right thing to do, with regard to pruning trees in one’s yard?

Draining of the Battery of the Tree Limb Grinding Machine

There is more to tell. The first day after the pruning, the man who was supposed to do the scrunching up of the limbs that were left in the street did not come back. So I called and asked about it; and the next day, at the very end of the day, he came back.

He was standing around with the general contractor in the street, and nothing was happening. So finally I came out, and he said that the battery that ought to start the engine on his scrunching machine had unaccountably stopped. It had been working during the day, but at my place it stopped working.

Battery Drains, Lightworkers, and Devas

As you may know from reading my prior blogs, I am not a stranger to dead batteries. Batteries die on me unaccountably all the time, both in my camcorder, and in car, and just Lord knows where else … in my flashlights … especially at times when there are Light upgrades; and it looks like, at times when the devas are riled with me as well. [laughs]

So I had a new pair of jumper cables in my car trunk, and the two men were able to start the engine after they jumped the tree limb scrunching machine, and the job was completed.

Conclusion

That is the story of the ups and downs of trimming trees in Los Angeles.

Well, you all take care! Love you lots! You are the greatest; and you are getting through a tough time right now, in good spirits. God bless you all!

The Tree Spirit That Lost Its Tree . a story by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

Yesterday an awful thing happened on my street. A huge pine tree two doors from where I live was cut down …

Last month I had two of my three jacaranda trees trimmed, and suffered greatly for it, as, being an empath, I felt the pain of the trimmed trees all night long …

Link: “Story of the Pruning of the Jacaranda Trees,” by Alice B. Clagett, filmed on 20 May 2020; published on 24 May 2020 … https://wp.me/p2Rkym-iiE ..

I had read that trees scream when they are chopped down, and I definitely did not want to be home when that happened to the tree that was being cut down yesterday, so I went for a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains. When I got back, the deed was done, and the tree trimmers were packing up to go home.

My street has never looked so forlorn, so bare, so lacking in shade and beauty, so devoid of health-imparting oxygen. Trees are the wealth of a street and of the houses there, I feel. What happened yesterday has made our street poorest of the poor.

Life here will never be the same again, I thought when I woke up this morning. How can I forgive this awful crime? No, I cannot forgive it! Then I thought: But if I do not release my heart from anger, what will happen to me? Yet I could not bring myself to do so.

In the early morning hours, just after sunrise, I was visited again and again by a big astral being that I thought must be that of the man who ordered the tree to be cut down. I thought that because the being expressed what I had thought for some years to be the thoughts of the man in question. This being was maybe three feet high, and had a substance or heaviness to it; as well, it had an intellect, but the emotions of a small child.

I sternly said to the being: Go away! Go home!

Each time I said that, it would feel upset and it would go off to the house of the man. But in a matter of seconds it would be back again.

Finally I thought I must have gotten it wrong. it was not the astral form of the man. Rather it was the spirit of the tree that had been cut down. The spirit of the tree was lost and bewildered. It did not know that its tree had been cut down. It was heartbroken when it found that out.

I said: You are welcome to be here with any of my trees. I went out into the backyard and showed it the trees. I said: Or you might like the trees across the street? Or maybe the trees in the field over there?

The spirit of the cut tree went from place to place, exclaiming in joy over each discovery, After a little while, It found a young person nearby, who knows about the world of nature spirits.

That young person agreed to take the spirit of the tree in, and help heal it. She found out it had picked up many sad and angry thoughts from amongst those wafting round our street, and those thoughts were making it unhappy. To my great relief, the young woman helped the spirit of the tree release the negative emotions that were causing it trouble.

As you may know, the Devas of Earth offer guidance to the nature spirits that help grow and sustain the trees and all other beings on Earth. The healing event that happened today reminded me of the Devic Accord established in days of yore by the Devic Council so as to save their charges from harm by humans …

Link: “How Devas and Nature Spirits Help Us,” by Alice B. Clagett, published on 12 July 2014; revised … https://wp.me/p2Rkym-7Rd ..

It reminded me how shocked the Devas are at the injury we humans do the nature spirits, by troubling those naturally joyful beings with our negative thoughts.

I was mulling this over when a Deva spoke to me. The Deva reminded me how I had asked my Ascension Team yesterday to do what it might to allow me to find a happy path in life. The Deva said that the tree spirits offer great power, on the astral plane, to the people living nearest them.

I feel it must be that they become attached to one such person. In this case, it must have been the man who ordered the tree to be cut down. That man had gained great power in the astral realm because of the giant tree that magnified his feeling world and broadcast it out into the neighborhood.

But I had been upset by the feelings of the man, and had never found happiness in my home. It seemed I must always defend my home from the angry, aggressive, disparaging thought forms of that man, which invaded my home all the time.

The Deva whispered: I have arranged this for you. Now you will be able to be happy.

I felt great relief, that there had been a good plan in place, and that this plan had brought about a happy ending for me, albeit through a course of dreadful sorrow the previous day.

It is true that the Devas are looking out for all the beings on Earth … us humans, as well as the trees and grasses, the gophers, coyote, rattlesnakes and circling hawks that utter such piercing cries.

If we but ask, they will bestow the blessings of a joyful, balance life upon us.

Dear Ones,

Here is a video with a story about nonhuman telepathic input regarding territorial aggression, a feeling of the human and nonhuman reptilian mind of lizards. After the video is an edited Summary. After that (and not included in the video) is my interpretation of two birds talking on the physical plane during a lizard fight at the end of the video …

VIDEO BY ALICE

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

Yesterday I was out in the backyard, cleaning off the edge of the backyard, behind the fence, where the black mustard was starting to grow up. Now is the time, right after the rains. I will admit, I was getting a little tired. When I get a little tired, the form of my interspecies communication … my telepathy with nonhumans … takes on a different tenor. My chakric energy sinks down, or changes a little bit, and my heart energy changes; that is the cause of it.

So I heard this telepathic chatter going on; it sounded like a little child speaking; but a very cold-hearted little child, very lacking in heart energy. The child said: If she dies, then we could move into her house, and we could live there.

I was thinking to myself: There are no children in this neighborhood that think things like that. I have heard talk of this tenor, off and on, all afternoon long. What could it possibly be?

I started taking the ladders and the tools back, and putting them in the toolshed and the places where they belonged. As I was walking up to the toolshed, I saw a lizard; not just one lizard, but another lizard … and another lizard, and another lizard, and another lizard … and a very small lizard that looks like it has had a mishap or two. And another lizard; this one was playing ‘top of the fence’.

And I thought: Oh, my gosh! I’ve been talking with the lizard children all day long!

[shows another lizard walking down the side of a garden wall] … Where are you going? Where are you going?

[Pans left, to smaller lizard doing pushups] Ohhh … going to talk to this lizard. [Smaller lizard skitters toward lizard walking down the side of the garden wall] … Uh oh, it is not a talk! [Pans right; the small lizard is half way up the garden wall, and the first lizard has disappeared.]

Nope, it was a lizard territorial fight. The lizard on the left was the one that won. And that is what it was talking about, when it talked about my house. They want to be the ones that have the territory and have the homes. They do not mind if another lizard bites the dust, as long as they can have that home for themselves.

[Shows big lizard chasing smaller lizard around and around.]

[End of video]

BIRD TALK DURING LIZARD FIGHT AT THE END OF THE VIDEO

The weirdest thing happened during this final videoclip; it seemed to me, on viewing it, that the songbirds in the soundtrack were commenting on what the lizards were doing. It seemed to me they were speaking English, but in a musical, flutelike voice with similar vowels to our way of speaking English, and similar emotive emphasis, but with less voicing of consonants.

Here, more or less, is what it sounded like the birds were saying …

First bird, assertively: Look at here! Dear, dear me, they are fight-ing here! …
Second bird, timidly: Dear me, what are they doing? …
First bird, assertively: They are fight-ing, they are fight-ing! Right? …
Second bird, timidly: Could that be?
First bird, assertively: Look, they are fighting each other. Oh my, dear me. Dear me! …
Second bird laughs gently, over and over again.
First bird, assertively: Look, dear, dear, dear, a fight here! …
[a pause, as the lizard in the foreground does pushups … then …]
Second bird, timidly: Fighting, fighting. Here, here, they are fighting!

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I was outside in the backyard this afternoon, cleaning off the walls of the house and sweeping the walkway. I have a story to tell you about a being that I heard while I was out here.

First I would like to explain about the honeybees that are newly arrived in my backyard. It goes like this: Way over here … [shows wall on one side of the backyard] … in the side wall for my backyard, there is a hole in the cinder block. In the hole in the cinder block there is a hive of honeybees.

All day long, during the daylight hours, from that hole fly out a lazy line of honeybees that go all over the place. One of their favorite places is over by a rosemary bush on the other side of the yard. I will show you. [shows rosemary bush]

Here is the rosemary bush in bloom. You probably cannot see them, but there are honeybees just about everywhere here, flying around gathering nectar, I guess. After they gather nectar, they fly across this cement walk here [shows cement walk] to the edge of this water here [shows edge of water].

During the daylight hours, by the water there is always this line of honeybees drinking the water. Do you see them?

They are around here on this side of the yard all the time. That is a very important thing to know for the rest of my story.

I was thinking I would sweep off these stairs here [shows patio stairs], and I did a little sweeping. Then I got to this flower bush here …

I thought: I will just lift this flower bush up and sweep underneath it. There are bound to be some leaves underneath of there. So I picked up the edge, and got ready to sweep underneath. And I heard the strangest sound in my left ear!

Something came flying up to my left ear and it said, in a kind of a mean voice … a kind of a hissing voice …

What’s your name … Alice? You leave those flowers alone! Don’t you touch those flowers! Don’t you hurt those flowers!

I carefully put the flowers back down, and I said to myself: Who could that possibly have been? I have never run across a being like that before! What kind of a being could that be?

I started to put my broom away, and then I realized I had been talking to a bee! It is a first! It is my first conversation with a honeybee!

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

I have a tree to show you … Here is a tree that fell down; a big old tree. Here are its roots … [shows roots] … Still there are some in the ground, I think.

The reason it fell down, I think, is that up here … [shows forest canopy above the roots of the tree] … there is really no sunlight to keep it strong and healthy. There is too much cover of other trees up there. So after awhile it weakened and fell down, it looks like.

Now let me show you what happened after that … Maybe its tree spirit told it to do that thing; told it to fall just this way … because when it did, it still had some roots in the ground, so it could draw up sustenance from the Earth.

And the crown of the tree fell down over here, see? … [Shows where crown of tree fell.] … Some of it is living. And above the crown of the tree there is an open space in the forest where the leaves can find sunlight after all.

So there is a chance that this tree will continue to thrive by relocating to a more sunlit place. Is not that something?

See, there is the beginning of it over there … [Shows length of fallen tree on the ground, and its upturned roots.]
